A Men's Community

The Lead Bulletproof Circle

The Summit Men's Retreat doesn't end when you go home. Neither does the work. Every Retreat attendee joins the Circle. That's a full year of staying connected, supported, and sharpened alongside the same men you sat with in the room.

How It Works

Simple to follow, simple to understand.

Step 1

Curious first?

Circle members can invite friends and colleagues for the same taste of the experience: join a Community call, meet other members firsthand.

Request to Join a Call →
Step 2

Only attending Summit One-Day?

You're warmly welcome to join a Community call as a guest and see what the Circle is about, and full membership is just one deposit away.

See How to Join →
Step 3

Not ready for the Retreat yet?

Put down the $500 Full Experience deposit, and you're in the Circle now through the Summit. Attend, and your access automatically extends to a full year. The deposit is also applied toward the Full Experience price.

Step 4

Ready for the Full Experience?

The Full Summit Experience, which is Summit One-Day plus the Summit Men's Retreat, includes a full year in the Circle, beginning immediately.

When you register or put down a deposit, we'll simply ask who invited you or how you heard about us. It helps us know how the word is spreading.

Why Substack

The right tool, not the easy one.

The Circle lives on Substack, not because it was easier, but because it's the right tool for real writing and real conversation. No clunky logins, no app you forget exists. Just the content and the people, in one place you'll actually return to.

What's Inside
  • The Thought Leaders, a weekly Wednesday morning book study for men committed to learning, reflection, and action.
  • Lead Bulletproof Stories, live quarterly gatherings where real stories create connection and perspective.
  • A weekly post from the team, the thinking behind the frameworks, before it ever reaches a stage.
  • Private chat with Circle members, real conversation with people doing the same work, not a comment section nobody reads.
  • A full events calendar, every upcoming Stories Night and Thought Leaders date in one place, so you always know what's next.
  • Recordings and a resource archive, so missing a live call doesn't mean missing the conversation.

The Thought Leaders

Read together. Think deeper. Lead better.

The Thought Leaders is the weekly book study included with Circle membership. We meet every Wednesday at 7:30 AM Eastern to explore important ideas, challenge our thinking, and turn what we learn into action. Members receive access to the recordings saved from each discussion.

What We Expect

This isn't a contract. It's how we show up for each other.

Show up when you can.

Life gets busy. We just ask you stay engaged and let us know when you're stepping away.

Protect the conversation.

What's shared here stays here.

Come to contribute, not perform.

No pitching and no posturing. Just real leaders doing real work.

Encourage more than you critique.

Sometimes the best thing you can offer is presence, not advice.

Community FAQ

What people ask before joining.

Can I invite someone to a Community call who isn't in the Circle?

Yes, guests are welcome, and this is a men's community. Invite another man who'd benefit from seeing what it's about. Full access to resources, including the archive, discussion threads, and past content, is reserved for Circle members.

Can I invite my spouse to a Community call?

The Circle is a men's community, so calls and membership are for men. We'd love to have your spouse involved in other ways. Summit One-Day is open to men and women, and the Summit Women's Regroup is a separate experience for women, led by Barbara Gustavson. Dates and venue are still being finalized.

How long does my Circle access last?

Circle access runs from one Summit Men's Retreat to the next, and renews automatically each time you attend. If you can't make it, a Full Experience deposit toward the next one keeps you connected in the meantime.

What happens when my year is up?

If you didn't attend the Summit Men's Retreat, you'll get a reminder about the upcoming one, encouraging you to put down a deposit. That deposit keeps your Circle access active.

Is there a cost beyond the Full Summit Experience?

No, unless you simply want to stay connected between events. In that case, the $500 Full Experience deposit covers it.

Can I join the Circle without attending the Summit Men's Retreat?

Yes, a Full Experience deposit alone gets you in. That said, we highly recommend attending. The Circle is best experienced alongside the in-person work, not as a substitute for it.

What's the benefit of an early deposit?

It keeps you connected to the Circle without a gap, and locks in the early-bird price for next year's Full Summit Experience.

I attended Summit One-Day only. Am I in the Circle?

Not automatically. Summit One-Day is a standalone one-day experience open to everyone, and it keeps you in the loop on future Summits and Retreats. You're also welcome to join a Community call as a guest. Full Circle membership comes with the Summit Men's Retreat or a deposit toward it.

I'm attending the Summit Men's Retreat. Am I in the Circle?

Yes. The Summit Men's Retreat includes Summit One-Day, and attending puts you in the Circle immediately.

Do I need an invitation to join?

No formal application. When you register for the Summit Men's Retreat or put down a deposit, we just ask who invited you or how you found us. That's it.

How do I actually get into the Circle?

Full Circle access comes from attending the Summit Men's Retreat or putting down the Full Experience deposit toward the next one.

Can I get a refund on my deposit if I can't make it to the next Summit Men's Retreat?

Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable. If you must cancel, no cash refund is issued. Instead, your Circle access is extended for one additional year.

Do I need a paid Substack account to be in the Circle?

Yes, a paid Substack account is what lets you connect with other Circle members and access resources. That access comes included, at no extra cost, when you register for the Men's Full Summit Experience or reserve with a deposit. It isn't sold separately through Substack, the Summit is the way in.

Can I check out the Community before committing to the Summit Men's Retreat or a deposit?

Yes. Existing Circle members can personally invite or recommend others for a taste of the experience: join a Community call and meet other members firsthand. Guests won't have access to the resource archive or ongoing discussion threads, but you'll receive updates on the next Summit and Retreat.
